Jyotirgamaya » Fall/Winter 2024-2025 is a breathtakingly beautiful journey of passage from darkness to light by Gaurav Gupta. This collection is an ethereal quest that includes elements of mysticism from Egypt and Vedic philosophy, marrying a rich color palette moving through shimmering metallics, celestial ivories, and deep blacks. It retains the draping and sculpting techniques typical for Gupta, tastefully marrying innovation and tradition. From contemporary Sharara pants to dramatic peplum dresses and sculpted saree gowns, no area of blending traditional skill with innovative design eludes him. Subtle Aari and Zari Zardosi embroidery speaks of timelessness, while handcrafted jewelry—such as the Chakra ear cuff—imbues an outfit with a sense of the spiritual.
